Marriage and family therapists make reasonable efforts to accommodate patients who have physical disabilities.
Historical and Social Prejudice: Marriage and family therapists are aware of and do not perpetuate historical and social prejudices when diagnosing and treating patients because such conduct may lead to misdiagnosing and pathologizing patients.
